Yousaf Aziz Magsi

Nawab Yousaf Aziz Magsi was a prominent Baloch leader from the present day Balochistan province of Pakistan. He hailed from the Magsi tribe headquartered in Jhal Magsi, the ancestral home of the Magsi tribe. Nawab was his title which stands for Ruling Prince/Chief of tribe inter-changeably. He was the second son of Nawab Kaiser Khan Magsi (Titles: Sir, Khan Sahib, and K.C.I.E - Knight Commander of the Indian Empire).
Yousaf Aziz succeeded his father after sending him in exile to Multan where Kaiser Khan lived very comfortably for his remaining days. He is buried in a magnificent shrine next to the shrine of the most prominent Sufi Saint of Multan.
Yousaf Aziz Magsi was very different from his contemporaries in how he saw his role as a Baloch Chief.
